Lawrence Dawson, 75, had extreme burns and accidents after he was pulled from a March 14 fireplace at his residence in Colonial Pines park on Bangor’s outer Ohio Avenue, Maine Division of Public Security spokesperson Shannon Moss stated Wednesday.
Dawson was taken to Jap Maine Medical Heart by ambulance, then transferred by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Heart in Portland.
A second man who lives on the residence was not injured, police stated beforehand.
