CHP task force seizes $300,000 in Legos stolen from Southern California retailers like Target, 4 suspects arrested

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Authorities introduced a bust of a retail theft ring that allegedly stole no less than $300,000 in Legos from Southern California retailers.

The Legos have been seized and 4 folks in Los Angeles and Orange counties have been arrested, in accordance with the CHP.

The suspects have been concerned in stealing the Legos from shops like Goal, Dwelling Depot and Lowe’s and promoting them to fences, who would in flip promote the merchandise for revenue, in accordance with CHP investigators.

The suspects have been recognized as Jeremy Johnson, 44, of Orange, Marta Hardt, 39, of Huntington Seashore, Chung-Pei Yu, 47, of Studio Metropolis, and Shen Li, 35, of Brea.

They have been booked on theft and conspiracy fees.

The bust was made by CHP officers who’re a part of a retail crime process pressure which has been cracking down on a surge in thefts from shops.
