One of many UK’s few remaining D-Day veterans has been celebrating reaching his a centesimal birthday which he places all the way down to “conserving very match” all his life.
Household and pals gathered on the residence of John Roberts and his spouse Gillian in Whitstable, Kent, as he opened his birthday card from the King and Queen.
