A person who took a rideshare final month has been arrested after police say he kidnapped and raped his driver.
Officers with the Alpharetta Division of Public Security say a girl reported to them that she was driving for Lyft on March 11 when she picked up a person as a passenger.

She stated he stole her automobile, kidnapped and raped her.
Investigators decided that she had additionally been given a sedative in the course of the incident.
The suspect was recognized as Demarcus Johnson, 32. He was arrested on April 5 and charged with rape, kidnapping, aggravated assault and theft by taking.
