Mangaluru: Pre-monsoon rains expected in May due to cyclone

Mangaluru, Apr 11: Scientists on the IMD (Indian Meteorological Division) have predicted that if a cyclone types after the summer time rains, pre-monsoon showers will arrive in Might itself.

Following the cessation of those rains, pre-monsoon showers are anticipated in the direction of the tip of April or the primary week of Might.

In 2023, Cyclone Moka arrived in Might, whereas Cyclone Biparjoy delayed the onset of rains.
