(AP) – The Inexperienced Bay Packers will play the Philadelphia Eagles when the NFL holds its first regular-season recreation in Brazil on Sept. 6.
The matchup in Sao Paulo will mark the primary time since 1970 that the NFL has performed a Friday night time recreation on the season’s opening weekend.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell already had stated in February that the Eagles could be the house workforce for the sport. The NFL introduced Wednesday which workforce could be dealing with the Eagles.
The sport will happen at Corinthians Enviornment, the house of Brazilian soccer workforce Corinthians. The venue was used on the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
This may mark the Packers’ second worldwide recreation within the final three years. They performed their first regular-season recreation exterior the USA in 2022, after they misplaced 27-22 to the New York Giants at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
