SAVANNAH, Ga. — 5 sorority sisters from the College of Georgia have been hailed as heroes after rescuing a mom and her two younger sons from their sinking car after it fell right into a creek.

Molly McCollum, Jane McArdle, Eleanor Cart, Clarke Jones and Kaitlyn lannace have been leaving their campus in Athens to have fun St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Savannah when the occasion occurred on March 15.
